1. Introduction

Welcome to JDS, operated by SUZHOU LAITAN INTERNATIONAL TRADE CO., LTD ("JDS", "we", "us", or "our"), located at No. 1355, Jinjihu Avenue, Suzhou Industrial Park, Phase IV of International Science Park, A0801-1-093, China.

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

JDS provides professional consulting and management services for the importation of products from China. Our services include:

  • Supplier sourcing and selection
  • Basic supplier verification
  • Negotiation of commercial terms
  • Production coordination
  • Quality control advisory and sample inspection
  • International logistics and customs coordination
  • Import documentation support
  • Process tracking through delivery
  • Access to our online dashboard platform

Our consulting fees do NOT include:

  • Logistics and shipping costs
  • Taxes, duties, or customs tariffs
  • External inspection costs
  • Banking or wire transfer fees
  • Customs broker fees

3. Role of JDS

JDS acts exclusively as an intermediary and strategic advisor during the import process. We are not the seller, manufacturer, or exporter of any products. All final purchasing decisions, payments to suppliers, and production approvals are the sole responsibility of the client.

4. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide clear and accurate information about the products you wish to import
  • Make payments to suppliers within the agreed timeframes
  • Comply with all import laws, regulations, and requirements in your country of destination
  • Respond promptly during the sourcing and import process

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website,including text, graphics, logos, and software,is the property of JDS and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.

Any logos, brand names, designs, or specifications you provide to us remain your exclusive property. JDS does not acquire any rights over your intellectual property. When working with manufacturers, we will require them to sign confidentiality and non-competition agreements (NDAs) to protect your brand.

6. Limitation of Liability

JDS commits to acting with professional diligence and good faith. However, we do not guarantee:

  • Exact production or transit times
  • Changes in customs regulations or import policies
  • Delays caused by external factors (ports, customs, weather, suppliers, transportation)

JDS is not responsible for manufacturing defects that cannot be detected during standard visual inspection, nor for losses arising from defective products once the client has approved the shipment. The client acknowledges that international importation involves inherent risks.

7. Third-Party Suppliers

JDS connects clients with third-party suppliers in China but is not liable for the actions, products, or conduct of those suppliers. While we verify and vet suppliers in our network, we cannot guarantee supplier performance, product quality beyond our inspection scope, or compliance with agreements once goods leave our oversight.

8. Customs & Regulatory Compliance

The client is solely responsible for complying with all applicable import laws and regulations in their country, including but not limited to:

  • Economic operator registration (where applicable)
  • Product compliance standards (CE marking, RoHS, REACH, FDA, or equivalent)
  • Payment of tariffs, duties, and import taxes
  • Submission of required documentation to customs authorities

9. Payment & Refund Policy

Consulting fees are paid in advance as agreed in the service contract. In case of early termination by the client, fees are non-refundable, except where JDS has not initiated any effective management. In such cases, a proportional deduction may apply at the discretion of JDS.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential all commercial information, supplier contacts, pricing, strategies, and documentation exchanged during the business relationship.

11. Testimonials Disclaimer

Testimonials and case studies displayed on our website represent individual client experiences. Results vary based on individual effort, market conditions, product category, and other factors.

Past results are not a guarantee of future performance. We make no guarantees of specific outcomes or financial results.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation first, and if unsuccessful, through arbitration in Suzhou, China.
